bio_eng: In a short period of time this young dj and producer has become one of Spains most promidsing electronic music artists. His passion for music was awakened when at the age of 15 he accompanied a friend who was going to buy some music. That is when John decided that electronic music would be his future and not much later John Shelvins music would fill millions of loud speakers around the world. The dj image and what it represents is what captivates John. He quickly becomes familiar with the techniques and tricks of the trade and soon acquires the necessary skills to demonstrate it in a club. After 3 years as resident dj at some of the most prestigious clubs in Madrid, such as Space of Sound, Cool, macumba or People, which he combines with other events in other venues in Barcelona, Miami or Ibiza, he takes on a new roll, that of producer. Not content with just playing at clubs he starts to compose his own music, it?s the next giant step and the opportunity to transmit what?s really in his head. Even though he is influenced by all types of music and artists from Erick Morillo to Daff Punk, and the likes of Danny Tenaglia or Laurent Gamier, his Spanish origins are reflected in the warm sound of his productions. From his last recordings, ?Temptation?, ?Just Like You Said? and ?Petit Comite? none can be catalogued in a particular style and in these we can see the time that John has dedicated to experimenting, developing and improving his skill as a producer and in which he has worked with the likes of Dave Spoen......... and a long etc. After having recorded during these years with some of the most recognised labels such as Spinnin, Pink Star... John returns recording with labels such as the Dutch label ?Armada?, owned by Armin Van Buuren. He has also been responsible for launching the first recording for the British based Botaira Records, one of the world?s most prestigious electronic music labels. At the same time working with the classic Nervous label where he has received great support from the likes of artists such as Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfold, Axwell, Sasha, Sander Kleinnenberg, Satoshi Tomiie, Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Nick Warren... John Shelvin returns to transmit his contagious sets to the audience and drag them down to the depths of his exceptional sounds... Caution, highly inflammable!

bio: La trayectoria de este dj y productor le ha llevado a que en poco tiempo a convertirse en una de las promesas de la música electrónica española. Su pasión por la música, despierta a los 15 años, cuando John decide acompañar a un amigo a comprar música, en ese momento John decide que la música electrónica será su vida y provoca que no mucho tiempo después los sonidos de John Shelvin recorran millones de altavoces por todo el mundo.
La imagen que acompaña la figura del Dj y lo que representa es lo que cautiva a John. Rápidamente se familiariza con los trucos y las técnicas del mundo deejay y muy pronto obtiene las aptitudes necesarias para demostrarlo en un club. Tras 3 años de residente actuando algunos de los mejores clubs de Madrid, como Space of Sound, Cool, Macumba o People, que compagina con actuaciones en otro lugares destacados como Barcelona, Miami o Ibiza, a John le llegó una nueva etapa, la producción.
No satisfecho con actuar en clubs comienza a crear su propia música, es el siguiente gran paso y la oportunidad para comenzar a transmitir lo que tiene realmente en el interior de su cabeza. A pesar de estar influenciado por todo tipo de música y artistas, desde Erick Morillo hasta Daft Punk, pasando por artistas como Danny Tenaglia o Laurent Garnier, su origen español está reflejado en el cálido sonido de sus producciones.
De sus últimos trabajos, ?Temptation?, ?Just Like You Said? y ?Petite Comité?, ninguno de ellos se cataloga en un estilo único y en ellos se ven reflejados los años que John ha dedicado en exclusiva a experimentar, desarrollar y mejorar en su faceta de productor, y en los que ha llegado a trabajar con artistas cómo Dave Spoon, Funkagenda, John Creamer, Nic Fanciulli, Paul Woolford, Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), Pig & Dan, Cedric Gervais etc...
Después de haber publicado durante esos años en algunos de los más reconocidos sellos cómo Spinnin, Pink Star... John, vuelve firmando trabajos con sellos como el holandés ?Armada?, propiedad de Armin Van Buuren y uno de los mas prestigiosos sellos de música electrónica del mundo, siendo el autor de la primera referencia del nuevo sello Botaira Records, sello musical con base en el Reino Unido, o con el clásico Nervous, trabajos a través de los cuales ha obtenido enormes apoyos de artistas cómo Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfold, Axwell, Sasha, Sander Kleinnenberg, Satoshi Tomiie, Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Nick Warren...
